Flowering your plants in hydroponics

- change light cycle to 12 hours on / 12 hours off. Ideally change light to 400W or 600W light

- light should be around 48" - 60" from the tops of the plants.

- The first 3-4 weeks will be when the plants change and show signs of flowering - during this cycle, use Formulex or grow nutrient at strength of 10 / 700 ppm.

- Remember to change nutrient every week and ensure pH levels of 6.0.

- At week 4, change the nutrient to Bloom or flowering formula. EC strength 15 / 1000ppm is a good strength.

- between week 8-12 your plants will flower completely. At this point change the nutrient for flush nutrient. Run the flush for 2-4 weeks to rid the plant of chemicals or fertiliser.

- towards the end you can just use water to flush the remaining nutrients from the plant, ready for cropping!

If you have problems, check our trouble shooting guide on how to maximise performance from your setup.
